Webflow is the leading no-code visual web development platform. It seamlessly generates sophisticated code so anyone can build powerful web-based businesses and adapt to changes without developers or months of building. From entrepreneurs and creative agencies to Fortune 500 companies, Webflow makes the internet a more inclusive place by making the tools to build on it more accessible to more people, fueling business growth. Webflow powers websites for innovators like PwC, MURAL, Rakuten, TED and Univision. Webflow is backed by Y Combinator, Accel, Silversmith, and other awesome investors.
We have been building the current product full-time since October 2012, and have a little over 25K lines of code (17K JavaScript, 4K LESS, 4K Jade templates). Since Webflow has a very rich UI, we also have more than a gigabyte of original design assets.
Webflow is a visual interface for creating responsive websites, and a platform that makes it easy to manage and host them. It provides Photoshop-like design tools natively in the browser, allowing web designers to craft professional websites without having to learn how to code. It automatically handles a lot of tedious and repetitive tasks usually associated with web design (such as writing code, domain registration, content management, cross-browser compatibility, hosting, compression, content delivery networks, search engine optimization, etc).
