UI/UX Designer / Senior Designer

Our clients rely on our software to facilitate their virtual recruiting processes and programs for interviews and networking events.

Flo Recruit is looking for a UX designer to join our rapidly growing startup based in Austin, Texas.

What You’ll Do

Work with Product and Engineering to develop designs that create a cohesive experience with the rest of the platform while providing a positive customer experience

Bring a track record in solving complex design problems that incorporate different user requirements and expectations resulting in a seamless and scalable solution

Utilize best practices for web-based architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques

Showcase experience designing applications with multiple user touch points for both desktop and mobile

Have proficiency using high fidelity and prototyping tools such as Figma

Maintain a balance between perfection and speed to ensure we can quickly deliver the most valuable solutions for our users

What You Should Have

3+ years of UX and UI experience in a high-demand, fast-paced environment

Experience working within and contributing to a design system

Experience with the end-to-end design process (Research & Requirements Gathering, Ideation & Design, Prototyping & Testing)

Ability to show work examples that demonstrate your design thinking and problem solving as well as visual design skills

Obsession with improving the user experience and making complex workflows simple and intuitive

Experience working openly alongside product managers, engineers, and leadership in a highly collaborative environment

Experience with user and competitive research

Remote Policy

As of May 2022, we have an East Austin office available to those who prefer to work in person. For employees seeking to work remotely, we ask them to join us in the office at least four times per month, with no longer than a two-week gap in attendance. We also hold a required All Hands meeting once a month.
