The Business Development Team at WhiteLab fuels our growth and innovation. With a focus on fostering partnerships, analyzing market insights, and identifying opportunities, we’re architects of expansion– we seamlessly bridge our cutting-edge technology with real-world impact. We’re already working with pharma giants and are actively forging more strategic alliances to accelerate the discovery and development of genomic medicines.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be in communication with a diverse range of stakeholders, including biotech, pharmaceutical companies, and top-tier academics. With your unique blend of bio-background and business acumen, you’ll seamlessly navigate diverse challenges. Your journey doesn’t stop there—this role opens doors to deeper involvement in deal closures, preparation of internal decision meetings, and external presentations.

We Are Excited About You If…

-You hold a Master’s degree in Biology/(Bio)chemical Engineering/Pharm.D or a similar degree with a demonstrated passion or experience in business

-You’re thrilled to take deep-dive into the business of BioTech, DeepTech, and Data Science, especially in the realm of AI.

-You bring hands-on experience, specialized expertise, or a deep enthusiasm for driving advancements in drug discovery and development, preferably in Biotech, Deeptech, or genomic medicines.

-You’re a pro at task prioritization & organization and can thrive independently in a bustling scientific environment.

-Your adept written and oral communication skills shine in internal meetings, in online correspondence, virtually, and during client presentations.

-You can navigate the nuances of a bilingual workplace: you’re proficient in business-level English and, although it isn’t mandatory, it is highly recommended that you are proficient in French.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

-You’ll interact with a wide range of functions internally and externally to understand and deliver on WhiteLab’s objectives.

-You’ll research the current landscape to identify relevant competitors, partners, clients and external growth opportunities in the field of genomic medicines.

-You’ll participate in business development and prospecting activities for the commercialization of WhiteLab’s capabilities (i.e., customer discovery, market research).

-You’ll identify and build relationships with potential new partners and/or customers.

-You’ll maintain WhiteLab’s customer relationship management system with companies, contacts, and deals, generating insights from our network and deal flows.

-You’ll participate with senior executives and management from prospecting to closing deals to negotiation.

-You’ll prepare WhiteLab’s materials for internal decision meetings and external presentations in coordination with the marketing team.

-You’ll elevate WhiteLab’s awareness of new growth opportunities (e.g. identification of relevant grants).

-You’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant world of business events and conferences. From pre-event set-up to dynamic meeting preparation and post-event follow-up, you’ll be at the heart of the action, shaping impactful experiences and making every moment count.
