We are looking for a Patient Support Specialist who will be the compassionate frontline of our patient interaction, ensuring a world-class experience with our service.
As a Patient Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their testing process and addressing any queries they may have. Your responsibilities will include:
Communicating with patients via email, text, and phone calls
Developing materials to help patients use our service
Collaborating with the product and engineering teams to improve the experience patients have with our service
Building processes to reduce manual labor and scale our operation
Collecting and analyzing patient feedback
What will help you succeed in this role:
2+ years of delivering exceptional customer service, with a preference for those with a background in healthcare or life sciences
Ability to conceptualize new processes to reduce manual labor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Some things that are not required, but you will learn on the job:
Basic genetic testing knowledge
An understanding of the lived reality of patients and families affected by severe complex diseases

The salary range for this role is $44,000-$91,000 annually. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs.

This is a hybrid role that will require working on-site 3 days a week in San Francisco. Local candidates only. Relocation is not offered for this role.
