Financial Planning & Analysis

As an early member of Slope’s finance team, you will be responsible for Slope’s planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities across our fast-growing product lines. This role requires a deep understanding of our performance, building detailed internal and external reporting, and highlighting insights that inform our capital allocation decisions. Within this role, you will need to be quick and adaptable, while having a strong ability to build sophisticated scenario planning analysis.

💎 What you will do

• Develop and execute the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes which can be updated daily based on actuals, enabling us to stay on top of our cash at any moment.
• Handle complexity across different data sources (databases, bank accounts, ledger, etc.), multiple debt warehouses, and frequent cash flow movement.
• Act as point of contact within Finance and drive cross-functional alignment within the organization.
• Develop financial models and analysis for our lending, payment, and software product lines.
• Work cross-functionally on modeling the financial impact and ROI from incremental products & features as Slope continues to evolve, and make good judgements on different model assumptions.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on strategic financial decisions, and setting targets.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to deliver operational and financial insights on past performance and future expectations.
• Produce quarterly Board materials and assist with future capital fundraising plans.
• Drive initiatives to improve, automate, and scale the reporting and forecasting processes.

📈 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Banking, Private Equity
• Deep expertise in financial modeling and analysis
• Advanced analytical skills and a significant understanding of accounting rules
• Attention to detail, strong & collaborative work ethic, and a relentless drive
• A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
• Comfortable with building process, autonomy, and ambiguity without requiring hands-on guidance. We are growing fast and still learning
