Swipe simplifies billing and payments for over 75 million Indian SMBs, making it effortless for local businesses to invoice their customers via WhatsApp. With Swipe, businesses can send a WhatsApp message containing a link for instant payment using a variety of methods. Since our inception in January 2021, we've been backed by YCombinator, top-tier VCs, and Angel Investors from Silicon Valley and India. Roles & Responsibilities for Product Design Intern (UI/UX):
As a Product Design Intern (UI/UX) at Swipe, you will be an integral early-stage member of our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with founders and the product team to design and refine user interfaces and experiences.
- Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new product features.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights, ensuring our product is intuitive and user-friendly.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of design systems and UI libraries.
- Actively participating in ideation sessions and contributing innovative design solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Qualifications:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in UI/UX design, including proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Understanding of design principles and user experience trends.
- Hands-on experience with versioning systems like Git is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit, with the desire to work as part of a dynamic team.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
